At the Career Fair, we will review your resume and conduct a brief screening interview. If you meet our requirements, there will be an on-line navigational test of approximately 30 minutes. Friday, February 10 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m Monday, February 13 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m Tuesday February 14 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Successful Candidates will have: • High school graduation or equivalent combined with 2 years of experience providing excellent customer service; • Strong computer navigation skills and the ability to quickly learn various databases and applications in a multi-tasking environment; • Superior interpersonal skills; • Demonstrated ability to speak clearly, calmly, and professionally; • Excellent listening, reading and comprehension skills; Bilingual applicants (French and English) will be given first consideration and will be required to undergo a French language assessment; A Criminal Record Check will be required of all successful applicants, at their own expense. Salary Range: $12.35 to $17.93 per hour (plus $1.15 per hour evening and weekend shift premium). The City of Winnipeg also offers a comprehensive benefits package. Start Date of Training: March 19, 2012 (Employment begins with 5 weeks of full-time paid training. You must be available Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) Hours of Work: After successful completion of training, hours of work will vary between 12 to 32 hours scheduled/week).
