In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx, a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxManitoba, where x=independently organized TED event.

We are looking to invite people from a broad range of experiences and interests – people who have vision and a passion to carry out that vision. TEDxManitoba will bring together people who want to share ideas and look for ways to collaborate to bring great things to life.

This one-day event is open to anyone who’s passionate about spreading ideas in the spirit of TED. We’re hoping the application process will help us gather a wide variety of attendees: young, old, experienced, or total newbies. We want to build an audience who will spread the ideas surrounding TEDx Manitoba throughout our beautiful province, and around the world. So apply before November 15 for a chance at one of 100 seats available.
