The FASD Specialist is responsible for researching, analyzing, developing, and evaluating services associated with the Authority’s agency-delivered FASD programs and services.
Duties Include:
Interpret policy; provide consultation/advice/support, education and presentations to internal and external audiences.
Review current practice and services and make recommendations on the development and implementation of FASD services for children, youth, families and caregivers.
Oversee or participate in the development of best practice model(s) and service standards for working with individuals affected by FASD who are involved with the CFS system.
Oversee the piloting of revised or new standards within the Authority and its agency and monitor the pilot(s), making recommendations for adaptations as needed and sharing those results.
Participate in the development, implementation and delivery of training to various groups.
