1 - This is My Story... We are looking to find 10 interested newcomer individuals, 55+, for a 10 week English writing / storytelling experience. Authors and writers Col. and Mrs. Bram Ryan of The Salvation Army will meet with the group once a week in the afternoon for a time of story sharing and teaching English storywriting skills. A small book is printed with their stories at the end of the course for each participant. Please see poster attached.

2 - Leaf Fundraiser... A community member and friends have offered to rake leaves by donation. Please contact our centre if you would like to have them come out. They are raising funds for street children in Afghanistan, and plan to send it there with a community member who will be travelling there this fall.
