Help Prevent Violence & Abuse amoung youth!
Education is the key to stopping the tragic cycle.
The Canadian Red Cross RespectED offers programming aimed at preventing child/youth abuse, relationship violence and bullying and harassment. Built on decades of Canadian Red Cross experience in community based safety programs, this award-winning service has helped more than one million Canadian youth understand what constitutes abuse, harassment and interpersonal violence, why these occur and how to get help.
RespectED is looking for volunteers to deliver it’s school- based workshops. Following screening, intensive training and ongoing support are provided.
For more information on how you can help keep youth safe by becoming a Prevention Educator, call Marian at 982-7346. Training begins October 2007.
