The CD/CED (Community Development/Community Economic Development) Training Intermediary is currently recruiting for the 2009-2010 academic year. Together with Red River College we are offering a one year certificate in Community Development. Application deadline is June 15, 2009 (Continuation of the program is subject to funding renewal). What the program provides: • A holistic approach to learning – mind, body, culture • Support services before, during and after the program • Support in obtaining employment • 12 month full time theory and practical experience in Community Development/Community Economic Development • FULL PAYMENT of books and tuition and some assistance with childcare, transportation and cost of living Who Should Apply? • Individuals without access to post secondary education • Newcomers to the community and First Nations people • Individuals with experience in community development/community economic development • People interested in improving communities Please contact Cassandra Buchan at 582-5800 ext. 17 for applications and/or further information. |
