 Taking Charge! is a joint provincial and federal program exists to help single parents
to find employment and build careers.
To be eligible for participation
in this program, individuals must be single parents receiving or
eligible to receive employment and income assistance. Services include
an onsite child care facility, personal development workshops, basic
computer training, job preparation help, and job-ready placement.
