The Canada Child Tax Benefit is a tax-free monthly payment made to low and middle income families to help them with the cost of raising children who are under the age of 18. To be eligible for CCTB, you must live with the child and be a resident of Canada. The CCTB includes these supports: National Child Benefit (NCB) Supplement is an additional benefit for low income families with children.
