How do you present career information to everyone from 14 year old school students to 40 year old second career seekers in a way that will grab and hold their attention? CareerCrate is stepping up to the challenge! CareerCrate is an innovative career education resource which has been constructed on a YouTube type Model. This represents a learning experience and a style of video presentation that school students and the younger workforce generation can best relate to. CareerCrate is free to the end user, and our continually growing video library can be viewed at www.careercrate.com. Our Vision: While most people have some concept of only the most well known job types, there is often little depth to that knowledge. The primary purpose of CareerCrate is to engage today's career seekers and to fill this gap. Our aim is to encourage people to invest more time and effort in thinking about their future. At CareerCrate we recognize that there are people who may wish to pursue careers without Post Secondary Studies. So although we promote the concept of Tertiary education, we also have an increasing resource of career videos about jobs that require no additional education. For Organizations and Companies: CareerCrate is a useful instrument for Human Resource departments or Organizations to utilize in reaching people to disseminate career information. Businesses can profile themselves as Employers, and promote particular job types. Industries and non-profit representative organizations (such as the Alliance of Sector Councils) can profile specific job types. Colleges and Universities can utilize CareerCrate as a platform to create awareness about their programs. Career assistance organizations can utilize CareerCrate as one of the resources they use to help career seekers to make informed career choices about which careers they wish to pursue. |
