LEAF Manitoba has an exciting opportunity for a self-employed contractor to enhance our community footprint and further the overall work on a variety of constitution and human rights matter affecting woman and girls. The incumbent will be responsible for the development and delivery of legal education programs for students and adults as well as a program to help community members develop their legal acumen. Working with volunteers, and the training and developing of volunteers throughout the province will be required. The successful candidate will have flexible work schedule, including some evenings and weekends. There is the possibility for some travel. The position would approximate 3 days a week and the contract is for $ 30,000 annually. This contract will appeal to candidates with a desire to educate. Knowledge of the law would be an asset as well as experience in community development, adult education, and working with volunteers.
